Mimi - moulded from the original French bust in alabaster. Mimi has  an Art Nouveau style but with unusually soft and pretty features.
The sculptor was Raymond Pierre Dupont who was known for his work with busts and heads. The subject, a young peasant girl was likely sculpted in the early 20th century.

This bust was hand made in the UK from reconstituted stone with a decorative paint finish.
It is generally in very good condition with one chip to the lower right corner shown in the photographs, and hence the price.
