Vintage 1930/40s embroidered rust coloured wool handbag

A vintage 1930/40s large size embroidered rust coloured wool tapestry handbag with glorious patterning and a taupe silk lining.  There are two side pockets and one main pocket. 

There is a strong plaited chain handle attached to the frame of the bag and a ball closing clasp.  

The edges of the bag are trimmed with fine leather of the same background colour. The lining is clean and in good condition. 

This is a fine example in very good overall condition and would be a perfect addition to any bag collection.
