A very early/mid 20th century wooden covered celluloid lidded box as found.
Perfect for jewellery or other trinkets.
The lid has a sailing boat scene on celluloid. The rest of the box has been covered in lizard skin effect paper. The interior base of the box is unlined and could do with adding a pretty fabric or paper. A charming vintage box in good condition commensurate with its age.
