A vintage Jane Shilton (made in England) lizardskin handbag in a lovely light golden colour with a very secure locking mechanism.
The handbag is lined in the most excellent rich, thick beige leather and is in a very clean condition.
The outside of this structured bag has had what looks like oil/makeup dropped on it near the centre on the front, on one corner and a few spots on the base. I have not tried to treat this.
As seen in the photographs, when a small silk scarf is tied to the handle the mark at centre front does not show when worn. Also the scarf does not need to be untied when the bag is opened (see photo). The corner and base marks hardly show in use. This is a very good price for what really is a wonderful handbag.
The length above represents the measurement from the top of the handle to the base of the bag. The handle is just long enough to be worn over my shoulder when used although I would usually wear a structured bag like those over my arm between elbow and wrist.
I regret the silk scarf is not included in the price quoted.
